Hewlett‑Packard
Event Kickoff Visual System
Large-Format Visual Communication Designed for
Live and Broadcast Environments
Hewlett-Packard commissioned an event kickoff visual sequence designed for a staged environment featuring three LED screens and a live-streamed audience. The visuals needed to function across both physical and broadcast contexts, appearing coherent and legible when viewed on stage and when captured through a live camera feed.

The project required careful consideration of perspective, scale, and alignment to ensure consistent visual presentation across multiple viewing formats.
The challenge
The stage configuration introduced complex spatial constraints.

Specifically:
-
The visuals had to read as a unified composition across three separate LED surfaces
-
The live-stream audience required a flat, distortion-free viewing experience
-
Certain segments needed to integrate with physical stage geometry while others needed to appear as a single continuous plane
-
All content had to be finalised and tested prior to the live event
The challenge was to design a visual system that could accommodate these competing requirements without compromising clarity.

The approach
Triken Studios designed the full sequence as a flat visual composition optimised for broadcast viewing. This master composition was then mapped onto a 3D stage mockup to simulate the physical LED configuration.

The approach involved:
-
Designing all content as a single, coherent visual plane
-
Projecting the visuals onto a 3D stage model to account for real-world geometry
-
Re-rendering the composition from three orthographic camera views aligned to each LED surface
-
Ensuring visual continuity across screens while preserving a flat appearance for live-stream viewers
This workflow allowed the visuals to function reliably across both physical and broadcast environments without requiring live manipulation.
Deployment & outcome
The final visuals were deployed as the event kickoff sequence across the three-stage LED setup and the live-stream broadcast. The system delivered a consistent visual experience for in-room attendees and remote viewers, supporting a clear and controlled opening to the event.

The project demonstrated Triken Studios’ ability to design and adapt large-format event visuals for complex stage environments while maintaining clarity, alignment, and delivery certainty under fixed event timelines.
