What does Triken Studios do?
Triken builds animation and visual storytelling, explainer videos, medical and scientific animation, motion graphics, and product and system visualisation, for teams whose products don't explain themselves easily. Scriptwriting and storyboarding, illustration, live-action production, and post production and VFX all sit under the same roof, so the explanation and the production stay joined up rather than getting handed between vendors.
Healthcare, technology, and enterprise teams come to Triken with products that are technical, new, or unfamiliar to the audience they're trying to reach, a device, a platform, a system, a process. The job is the same every time: work out what the audience needs to understand, and build the clearest path to that understanding, then produce the video on top of it.

How does Triken approach a new project?
Discovery and script first, then storyboard, then production, in that order, every time.
Every project starts with working out what the video needs to say and who it's for, before anything gets designed or animated. For technical or regulated work, that includes a storyboard sign-off with your internal reviewer before full production starts, so the science or technical detail gets checked while it's still cheap to fix. For more straightforward briefs, the same discipline applies, just with fewer review stages. The process scales to what the project needs, not the other way around.

Plenty of studios can animate. Triken's strength is the thinking that happens before a single frame gets built, working out what needs to be said, in what order, and for whom. That applies whether the brief is a straightforward product explainer or a highly technical mechanism-of-action film for a regulated audience. The harder the product is to explain, the more that groundwork matters, but it's the same approach on every project, not just the complex ones.

Who founded Triken Studios?
Vignesh Ilangovan, who has spent two decades in animation, the first ten years as an animator and VFX supervisor, the last ten as founder and creative director of Triken Studios.
That first decade shaped how Triken approaches every project: hands-on production experience, not just creative direction from a distance. Vignesh leads creative direction personally on every project Triken takes on, working alongside a team of animators, motion designers, and producers to bring each brief to life.
