AI VIDEO PRODUCTION · SINGAPORE

AI Video Production Singapore

AI video production is video built using AI generation tools, spanning 2D, 3D, and photorealistic or hyper-realistic footage, including fully AI-generated people. Triken uses it across every style we work in, backed by ten years and 400+ projects of production judgment on when it's the right call and when traditional production still wins. AI video projects typically cost SGD 3,500 to SGD 8,000, with most projects landing around SGD 5,500.

Video built with AI, across 2D, 3D, and photorealistic footage, including fully AI-generated people, when that's the right tool for the brief. Ten years of production judgment decide when it is, and when it isn't.

The production method depends on the problem, not the trend

AI didn't replace animation, it added another tool to the kit. We use it where it makes a video better, faster, or more affordable, and we use traditional production where the accuracy, brand fit, or trust a project needs still calls for it. Which one your project needs is a judgment call, and it's one we make with you, not for you.

A FEW EXAMPLES

AI video production across the range

2D, 3D, photorealistic, and fully AI-generated talent, built for the brief each one needed.

What we use AI video production for

  • Rapid concepting and style exploration across any format

  • Photorealistic and hyper-realistic footage without a shoot

  • Fully AI-generated video, including AI-generated people, for the right brief

  • Hybrid pieces that blend AI generation with traditional 2D, 3D, or motion design

The skill isn't prompting AI. It's knowing what to prompt for.

Anyone can open an AI video tool and type a sentence. Getting a shot that looks directed, not just generated, the right angle, the right pacing, the right composition, is a different skill. That's what two decades of professional creative direction brings to an AI engine that a first prompt from outside the industry never will. The tool got easier to access. The judgment behind a shot that works didn't.

If AI makes video easy, why do I need a studio?

Because the tool being easy to open isn't the same as the result being good. Prompting an AI engine to generate a scene without a background in shot composition, camera language, or art direction gets you something that looks generated. Prompting the same engine with two decades of professional creative direction behind every decision gets you something that looks directed.

That gap doesn't live in the tool. It lives in the person using it. Most of what AI changed is who has access, not who knows how to direct with it. We were framing shots and building visual stories for two decades before AI became part of the toolkit, what angle sells the moment, how the pacing should move, where the eye needs to land. That's what we bring to a prompt that a first attempt from outside the industry won't have, and it's the real reason a professional studio is worth paying for on an AI-generated piece, not just a traditionally animated one.

What does the AI video production process look like?

The process starts the same way traditional production does: discovery to lock what the video needs to say and who it's for. Where it splits is the toolkit, generation and iteration move faster, but a person is still directing every stage.

01

Discovery & script

What to say, who it's for, and what's already in place.

02

Style & tool selection

2D, 3D, photorealistic, or AI-generated talent, chosen against the brief.

03

Generation & production

Built and iterated with the selected AI and production tools.

04

Review & finishing

Human QC, compositing, and cleanup before it ships.

Style and tool selection happens early, decided against what the brief needs, not defaulted to whichever tool is newest. Generation and production follow, then a human review and finishing pass before anything goes out.

How much does AI video production cost, and what drives price?

AI video projects typically cost SGD 3,000 to SGD 8,000, with most projects landing around SGD 5,500. The final price depends on visual complexity, the amount of generation and refinement required, and how much custom production is involved.

~ SGD 5,500

Where most projects land

Photorealistic finishing, custom-trained models, or multiple rounds of refinement can push a project beyond this range.

What pushes a project up: photorealistic or hyper-realistic finishing work, custom-trained models or voice matching, and multiple rounds of generation and human refinement to get a specific look exactly right. What keeps it down: a style that generates well with less manual cleanup, and a brief that's settled before generation starts.

Where does AI help, and where doesn't it?

Broadly. We build with AI across 2D, 3D, and photorealistic footage, including fully AI-generated people, when that's the right fit. The judgment isn't whether AI can do it, in most cases now it can. It's whether AI is the right tool for this specific brief.

WHERE IS AI USUALLY THE RIGHT CALL

  • Rapid concepting and exploration

  • Photorealistic footage without a shoot

  • Fully AI-generated video, including AI-generated people

WHERE TRADITIONAL PRODUCTION STILL WINS

  • Regulated or highly technical accuracy

  • Brand-exact visual systems built from your guidelines

  • Anything where the audience needs to know a real person is behind it

Most projects end up blending both, AI for what it does well, traditional production for the parts that still need a human's hand. That mix gets decided project by project, not by a fixed rule.

How long does AI video production take, start to finish?

AI-generated pieces can move faster than an equivalent traditional shoot, sometimes two to four weeks for a straightforward brief, since there's no shoot day to schedule around.

Photorealistic and fully AI-generated talent pieces usually need more rounds of generation and refinement to get right, which can bring that closer to four to eight weeks. Hybrid pieces that blend AI with traditional 2D, 3D, or motion design follow the timeline of whichever part is more involved.

What do you need to have ready before we start?

The same things you'd need for any project: what the video needs to say, who it's for, and whatever brand or reference material already exists.

If you're picturing a specific look, reference footage or examples help more than a written description. You don't need to know which AI tools or techniques should be used, that's part of what gets scoped during discovery.

Is AI video production the right approach for your project?

AI video production earns its place when speed, cost, or a look that would otherwise need an expensive shoot matters more than the audience needing to know a human made every frame. It's a strong fit for concepting, social and campaign content, and increasingly for finished pieces across every style we work in.

Where it's worth a second look: content that has to carry regulated or technical accuracy (that's our 3D Animation or Medical Animation page), or a piece where the credibility of a real, named person on screen is the point. Even then, AI often still plays a role, in concepting, in supporting footage, in speeding part of the process up. A working session sorts out exactly where it fits your brief.
