AI-generated event visuals combined with live event footage for a technology launch
Client: CloserStill Media
Triken Studios created the opening ceremony video for Tech Week Singapore, building the first half entirely with AI-generated visuals. The sequence used AI to create futuristic technology environments, Singapore skyline imagery, digital infrastructure and human scenes that established the event's themes and regional focus. The film then transitioned into footage from the event itself, connecting the forward-looking opening sequence with the real-world technology community and live event experience.
The challenge
The opening needed to introduce a broad range of technology themes and position Tech Week Singapore within the wider Asia-Pacific technology landscape, while creating enough visual impact for a major event setting.
Producing these environments through conventional filming would have required multiple locations, sets, talent and extensive production. The challenge was to create a cohesive future-focused visual world while maintaining a clear connection to the actual event.

The approach
Triken Studios structured the film around a three-part narrative, moving from a technology-focused countdown into a wider Asia-Pacific narrative before transitioning into the event itself.
AI-generated production was used extensively across the first half, including the Singapore skyline, technology environments, futuristic workplaces, digital infrastructure and other visual elements. This allowed the sequence to establish a consistent visual language without relying on conventional location shoots or stock footage.
The final section incorporated live footage from Tech Week Singapore, providing a direct transition from the conceptual future-facing imagery into the actual event and its audience.
Deployment & outcome
The final opening ceremony film combined AI-generated visualisation with live event footage to create a unified introduction to Tech Week Singapore.
The film established the event's technology themes and regional positioning before transitioning into real footage of the event, creating a clear bridge between the future-focused opening and the live programme.
